THE ULTIMATE DESIGN AND LIFESTYLE EVENT
The Philippines International Furniture Show, through the collaborative efforts of the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation Inc. (CFIF), the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines (CFIP), and the Pampanga Furniture Industries Foundation (PFIF), has once again showcased the best in local craftsmanship of furniture and furnishings with quality up to par with international standards last March 7 to 9 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City. This year’s show recorded over 7,000 trade visitors from 35 different countries. The top ten countries represented this year by foreign trade visitors are as follows: United States of United States of America, China, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Singapore, India, Germany, Australia, and Italy.
MORE THAN JUST A TRADE SHOW
The Filipino creative spirit has a global reputation wherein history has proven time and again, that the furniture from the Philippines has influenced trends globally in the design industry. Year after year, PIFS has become a real attraction for trade buyers and visitors on the lookout for the newest interior trends and furniture pieces that depict a specific lifestyle.
One of the highlights of PIFS this year was the iDisenyo Interior Design Competition, organized by the University of the Philippines Interior Design Alumni Association (UPIDAA) and the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines (CFIP) in collaboration with Adams Philippines. It is a contest for teams of interior design students and professionals, along with their corresponding furniture manufacturer, in designing a masterpiece fitting of their manufacturer’s mission and vision considering the function, comfort, and aesthetics despite the increasing limitation of space.

PIFS will be held once again on March 12-14, 2020 at the SMX Convention Center Manila. The show is co-located with Interior & Design Manila, the industry’s primary source for the latest products and services for all types of interior products, technologies, and services for industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
